What an honor to be part of this event! Timeless antiques. Breathtaking art. The finest authors under one roof! 60 years for the Women's Club of Honesdale and hopefully 160 more to come! Check them out the 2nd weekend of July at the Wayne Highlands Middle School.
The newest from my heart, born of my love of elephants. I have always identified with the elephant as I am not a tiny human by any stretch and was cursed with overly large feet. Little Ela just wants to be understood and find somebody just like her. Will she? A story of belonging and friendship.
A few from my barn collection painted in the first three months of 2024. The members of the Women's Club were asked to show some of their crafts. What a talented bunch we are!
Over 140 vendors at the Craft Show at Honesdale High School. My alma mater! Two gyms, the HS cafeteria, and hallways everywhere! And did I mention the Hornet Cafe? Omgoodness was that food area enticing!
This is part of my set-up.
Another part of my set-up. Fallish on one table and more wintry on the other.
Normal Gnome goes everywhere I go. For craft shows that is. When he's not with me, he's all snug in a great big tote all cozy and content.
Wayne County Imaging, an NEPA photographer, was at the craft show and asked to take a picture of me. I agreed only if I could hide a bit. Love it!
"Norman Gnome Knows a Christmas Story" flew off the 'shelf' as gifts for soooo many littles
Books and candy for all!
Normal Gnome goes everywhere I go. For craft shows that is. His little Christmas buddy even tagged along!
As a local artist and author, here I am set to showcase my vibrant acrylic paintings and captivating books at this year’s annual craft fair. Known for my colorful and expressive artwork, my booth is always a highlight for visitors of all ages.
I was particularly excited to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new friends. There’s nothing quite like the joy of seeing the community come together,
I love watching the children’s eyes light up when they see my paintings or hear a story from one of my books.
My booth features a range of my latest acrylic paintings, each bursting with color and emotion, as well as my collection of books that transport readers to magical worlds. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or a book lover, my booth promises to be a delightful stop at the fair.
Isn't Norman just the cutest? He was made by my friend Carleen and travels with me everywhere I go. The 1st show! I wasn't sure what to expect. Would people like my crafts? Would anyone buy the books or paintings? YES to both questions! My daughter joined me with her tumblers, Christmas ornaments and pens. Great day!
We were in between two wineries. What a great space to be!
The little collection of birds were a hit with the city folk and even the locals. Two were sold while I was on a break. A piece of me went with each.
The set up by my daughter, Arminda Bayly. VERY popular indeed!
A few older paintings. Sad but not sad they all came home with me. FREE candy for all!
Tumblers flew off the shelves! Check out Mandy's Craft Corner to order your special tumbler today!
The first book I wrote:
Miss K.A.R.E.N.'S. Mystical Magical Emerald Green Garden Shed complete with a matching coffee mug and placemat. The littles at the show almost cleaned me out of the pencils I gave away.
The round picture of a cabin on the water sold right away. The black cat in a stare off contest with the pumpkin brought on a bidding war with two customers. Blackie was purchased by a mom to send to her daughter in NYC.
Which book would you like?
As I was unwrapping the Santa painting, a customer was watching me and bought him!
The bookmarks were a hit with the littles at the show!
Both of these books could be yours!
